Stance on Illegal Hacking and Piracy

Zero Day Arcade DOES NOT support or condone illegal hacking or piracy. Hacking should only be done on hardware and networks you own or are otherwise legally permitted to hack. While we fully support the homebrew, emulation and preservation communities, we do not support illegally distributing pirated material.

We believe that understanding how to implement exploits is integral to preventing security breaches and aids in understanding the underlying hardware and protocols. The knowledge of how to hack also teaches you how to prevent hacks, and is an important component of improving security standards and growing as a developer. At the same time, we believe that if you legally own a piece of hardware or a game, then you should be allowed to freely modify it for your own purposes provided that what you are doing does not infringe on the rights, property, or experience of others.
